My foray in cross-border logistics started with my side hustle of buying high end gadgets in the UK and handing them off to a friend to sell in the local market for me. I came to experience first hand the pain involved in the process of buying and shipping items into the country. It would take months, cost exorbitant amount of money and immense stress to complete every transaction. Being a technologist, I always wondered why no one has solved this problem with technology.
When I came across Heroshe, it was love at first sight. I had an immediate affinity because I had genuinely faced the problem Heroshe was solving. I was onboard immediately, bought into the vision and quickly hatched plans on how to scale its operations with technology. I believe the impact of technology is in the problems it solves and the improvement to quality of life it brings. This is central to what we do at Heroshe. We use practical application of technology to solve some of the hardest problems in developing nations at scale. We are solving Logistics, Payments and Access to Global Markets.
